Dividend Scan: FSR, GAME, STB, FCAP

As the U.S. market traded in green, several companies declared their future dividend plans. Some notable dividend payers are discussed here. Flagstone Reinsurance Holdings SA (NYSE: FSR) declared a quarterly dividend of $0.04 per share, or $0.16 annualized. The dividend will be payable on December 15, 2011, to stockholders of record on December 5, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of December 1, 2011. Shares rose 3.38 percent, or $0.24, to trade at $7.34. Shanda Games Ltd. (Nasdaq: GAME), an online game company, today announced that its board of directors declared a special one-time cash dividend of $0.51 per Class A or Class B ordinary share, or $1.02 per American depositary share. Shares jumped 11.50 percent, or $0.46, to trade at $4.46. Student Transportation, Inc. (Nasdaq: STB), which provides school bus and management services to public and private schools in North America, plans to pay a regular monthly cash dividend of C$0.04636833 per common share on January 16, 2012, February 15 and March 15 to shareholders of record at the close of business on December 30, 2011, January 31, 2012 and February 29, 2012. Shares gained 3.15 percent, or $0.20, to trade at $6.03. First Capital Inc. (Nasdaq: FCAP), which operates as the bank holding company for First Harrison Bank that provides various banking services to individuals and business customers, declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.19 per share of common stock.
