Capitol Federal Financial Inc. (Nasdaq: CFFN), which operates as the holding company for Capitol Federal Savings Bank, declared an annual dividend of $0.10 per share, or $0.1 annualized. The dividend will be payable on December 2, 2011, to stockholders of record on November 18, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of November 16, 2011. Shares were down 1.25 percent or $0.14 to trade at $11.03.
McGraw-Hill Companies (NYSE: MHP), which provides various information services for financial, educational, and business information markets worldwide, has approved a regular quarterly cash dividend on the Corporation's common stock. The dividend of $0.250 is payable on December 12, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 28, 2011. It has paid a dividend each year since 1937 and is one of fewer than 25 companies in the S&P's 500 that have increased its dividend annually for the last 38 years. Shares slipped 1.52 percent or $0.66 to trade at $42.70.
Allete, Inc. (NYSE: ALE), primarily engaged in the generation, transmission, and distribution of electric power in the US, has declared a quarterly dividend of $0.445 per share of common stock. On an annual basis the dividend is equivalent to $1.78 per share, unchanged from the previous quarter. The regular quarterly dividend is payable December 1, 2011 to common stock shareholders of record on November 15, 2011. Shares slipped 1.10 percent or $0.44 to trade at $39.50.
PetMed Express Inc. (Nasdaq: PETS), which operates as a pet pharmacy in the US, announced that its Board of Directors declared a quarterly dividend of $0.125 per share on its common stock. The dividend will be payable on November 25, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 11, 2011. Shares fell 1.85 percent or $0.19 to trade at $10.10.
