Maximus Inc. (NYSE: MMS), a leading provider of business process outsourcing services to government health and human service agencies in the U.S., announced today that its board of directors approved a quarterly cash dividend of $0.09 per share, payable on November 30, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 15, 2011. Shares added 1.40 percent, or $0.51, to trade at $37.02.
Core Laboratories NV (NYSE: CLB), a leading provider of reservoir description, production and reservoir management services to the oil and gas industry, announced a cash dividend payable in the fourth quarter of 2011 of $0.25 per share of common stock. On an annualized basis, the quarterly cash dividend for the fourth quarter of 2011 would equal a payout of $1 per share of common stock. The quarterly $0.25 per share cash dividend will be payable on November 22, 2011, to shareholders of record on October 21, 2011. Share gained 0.86 percent, or $0.85, to trade at $99.44.
HopFed Bancorp Inc. (Nasdaq: HFBC), a holding company of Heritage Bank, announced its board of directors has declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.02 per share. In addition, the company will pay a 2 percent stock dividend. Both the stock and cash dividends will be paid on October 18, 2011, to stockholders of record as of October 3, 2011. Shares were unchanged from yesterday's close of $5.60.
International Paper Co. (NYSE: IP), a global paper and packaging company, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.2625 per share for the period from October 1, 2011, to December 31, 2011. This dividend is payable on December 15, 2011, to shareholders of record on November 16, 2011. Shares were up 0.83 percent, or $0.21, to trade at $25.44.
L-3 Communications Holdings Inc. (NYSE: LLL), which provides command, control, communications, intelligence, surveillance, and reconnaissance systems, declared a quarterly dividend of $0.45 per share, payable on December 15, 2011, to stockholders of record on November 17, 2011, with an ex-dividend date of November 15, 2011. Shares gained 0.71 percent, or $0.48, to trade at $67.82.
Alliant Energy Corp. (NYSE: LNT), which operates in electric and gas utility businesses in the U.S., declared a common stock dividend of $0.4250 per share payable on November 15, 2011, to shareholders of record on October 31, 2011.
