Because cash flows are the most sustainable source for a company to pay their dividends, having high free cash flows is a good indicator for dividend reliability. Here we ran a screen on high dividend yield stocks (with dividend yield above 3% and a sustainable payout ratio below 35%) that have high levered free cash flow relative to market cap. Levered free cash flow is the free cash flow available after paying interest on outstanding debt.
