Crane (CR) Tops Q2 EPS by 7c; Raises FY10 Guidance; Increases Dividend

Crane (NYSE: CR) reports Q2 EPS of $0.66, 7 cents better than the analyst estimate of $0.59. Revenue for the quarter was $552.8 million, which compares to the estimate of $543.09 million. "Based on our solid first half performance and confidence in the future, we are raising our 2010 earnings per share guidance to a range of $2.35 a $2.50 per diluted share compared to our prior guidance of the high end of $2.15 a $2.35 and increasing the quarterly dividend by 15%, or $0.03 per share, to $0.23 per share." (FY10 EPS consensus is $2.39)...
