Amid the positive movement of the US market, several companies declared their future dividend plans. Some notable dividend payers are discussed here. Best Buy Co., Inc (NYSE: BBY) declared a regular quarterly cash dividend of 15 cents per common share, payable on May 5, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 14, 2011. However, BBY was down 4.51 percent or $1.36 to $28.77. PetSmart Inc (Nasdaq: PETM) added 1 percent or $0.41 to $41.45 after it declared its quarterly dividend of 12.5 cents per share, payable on May 13, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 29, 2011. Campbell Soup Inc (NYSE: CPB) declared a quarterly dividend of 29 cents per share, payable on May 2, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 11, 2011. CPB gained 0.18 percent or $0.06 to $33.59. Peoples Bancorp Inc (Nasdaq: PEBO) gained 0.08 percent or $0.01 to $12.06 after it declared a cash dividend of $0.10 per common share. The dividend is payable on April 18, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 4, 2011. Masco Corporation (NYSE: MAS) announced a quarterly dividend of $0.075 per share. MAS gained 0.49 percent or $0.07 to $14.22. Oracle Corporation (Nasdaq: ORCL) raised its quarterly dividend by 20 percent to 6 cents per share from 5 cents a share. ORCL added 3.30 percent or $1.06 to $33.20. United Security Bancshares (Nasdaq: UBFO) lost 0.30 percent or $0.01 to $3.35 despite declaring a stock dividend of one percent.
