As the US market regained its positive form after three days of loss, investors got a boost from a report that the country's largest banks are going to declare their dividends on Monday. Several companies declared their future dividend plans today. Some notable dividend payers are discussed here.
Interpublic Group of Companies (NYSE: IPG) declared a dividend of $13.125 per share on its Series B Cumulative Convertible Preferred Stock, payable on April 15, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 1, 2011. IPG added 2.64 percent or $0.31 to $12.06.
The Ensign Group Inc (Nasdaq: ENSG) gained 1.19 percent or $0.36 to $30.55 as it declared a quarterly cash dividend of $0.055 per share, payable on April 30, 2011 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2011.
Umpqua Holdings Corporation (Nasdaq: UMPQ) reported a quarterly cash dividend of $0.05 per share, payable on April 15, 2011 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2011. UMPQ added 0.57 percent or $0.06 to $10.61.
Patterson Companies Inc (Nasdaq: PDCO) declared a quarterly cash dividend of 12 cents per share, up 20 percent from its previous 10 cents a share. The dividend is payable on April 28, 2011 to shareholders of record on April 11, 2011. PDCO gained 1.27 percent or $0.40 to $31.82.
Com Products International Inc (NYSE: CPO) reported a quarterly dividend of $0.14, payable on April 25, 2011 to shareholders of record on March 31, 2011. CPO gained 3.19 percent or $1.46 to $47.25.
