Predictions For 17 Dividend Growth Companies Announcing Increases In November

As part of my research into dividend growth stocks, I track the dividend payouts for the components of the S&P High Yield Dividend Aristocrats index. This index consists of stocks that are part of the S&P 1500 index - that's the combination of the S&P 500, S&P Mid Cap 400 and the S&P Small Cap 600 indices - that have increased their regular dividends each year for the last 20 years.
Like I did last month, I'm also including predictions for other companies with histories of dividend growth. These predictions are towards the bottom of the article.
Based on historical patterns, I expect 13 members of the S&P High Yield Dividend Aristocrat index to announce dividend increases in November. In addition, there are 4 other dividend growth companies that I track that should announce their annual dividend increase. Before I give you my predictions for November's increases, let's take a look at how well I did with my October predictions.
In the interest of full disclosure, I should point out that I missed dividend increases from two companies: Dividend Aristocrat AT&T (NYSE: T) announced a 2.1% dividend increase to an annualized rate of $1.96, and regional bank holding company Commerce Bancshares (Nasdaq: CBSH) announced a 5% stock dividend while maintaining the annualized payout of 90 cents a share, effectively giving investors a 5% dividend increase.
