Dividend Detective's High Income Trio

We're adding several new exciting issues to our model income portfolios. One is a REIT paying a 19.5% estimated dividend yield. Another, is a ship owner paying 8.9%. We're also adding a financial sector preferred that is trading 9% below its call price and paying 7.0%. Navios Maritime Partners (NMM) owns and operates dry bulk ships. We're also adding a new Preferred Stock that is paying a 7% yield to new money, and offers 9% appreciation potential. Numbers like that are getting hard to come by. Our choice is Merrill Lynch Capital Trust II 6.45% Trust Preferred Securities (MER-M). Bank of America acquired Merrill in 2009.
