Young Investor Dividend Growth Portfolio - 25% YOY Growth
Introduction
Once again, now that I have more freetime, I am back to updating my portfolio articles for interested investors. The Young Investor Dividend Growth Portfolio is one of my favorite creations. Despite this, I have not updated the portfolio in 11 months due to various time constraints.
While investors can purchase current high-yield Dividend Aristocrats such as ExxonMobil (NYSE: XOM) and Chevron (NYSE: CVX), the history of dividend growth for these stocks means that they often trade at a premium. However, investors have the ability to get in ahead of these high potential gains should they invest in companies before they reach Dividend Aristocrat status. For investors interested in finding such stocks, the following portfolio dictates a sample growth portfolio for someone with $100,000 to invest.
For those who have not read previous articles, the portfolio has three simple rules. First, no stock may make up more than 10% of the portfolio. Second, no new money may be added to the account. Third, all the stocks must have a history of paying dividends.
