High Dividend Stock Yields 9%, Reports This Week, Insiders Buying
Don't you wish you could turn the clock back to mid-February and go on an energy dividend stock shopping spree? This formerly beaten-down sector has come on like gangbusters over the past several weeks as investors began to turn on the money flow.
Like many of the other midstream firms we've covered in recent articles, NuStar Energy LP (NYSE: NS) has moved along with the pack - it's up 64% in the past quarter. But it's still down -27% over the past year:
NS has blown right through analysts' current range of price targets:
But should we just cry in our beers and forget about it? We don't intend to. The market being as fickle as ever, there may very well come a time in the near future when NS gets back down to a cheaper price range, or maybe it'll receive some upgrades after its upcoming Q1 2016 earnings release on 4/27/16.
Five Insiders bought 69,000 shares in November - December 2015, at prices ranging from $32.47 to $46.24.
Analysts' consensus for Q1 earnings is $.51. NS earned an outsized $1.47 in Q1 2015, due to a one-time gain on completing the acquisition of its Linden, NJ, terminal.
