Many Private Equity companies are very generous to shareholders in terms of dividend yields. As the sector looks like it is ready to stage a strong rally, it is time for income investors to consider buying now and lock the high yields for the long run.

During this week, a series of reports came out showing that the US economy is in great shape.
It was reported early this week that the median US household income, adjusted for inflation, is now higher than it was before the recession that began at the end of 2007. The research was conducted by Sentier Research, which based its study on December 2015 data. The typical US family earned $57,153 in December, 4.3% higher than a year earlier and nearly 1% higher than December 2007. Month-to-month gains during the last several months have been the most rapid in the history of the survey, which dates back to 2000. If the pace of growth continues in 2016, household incomes are expected to hit a new record high.

According to Sentier Research:
"We continue to see an upward trend in income that has been evident since the low point in August 2011. Relatively low energy prices have contributed significantly to increases in real median household income."
