Fastenal Company (FAST) Raises Semi-Annual Cash Dividend For Eighth Consecutive Time

The Fastenal Company (Nasdaq: FAST) declared a dividend of $.42 per share to be paid in cash on September 3, 2010 to shareholders of record at the close of business on August 20, 2010. The Company expects that it will continue to pay a comparable semi-annual cash dividend in the foreseeable future, provided that any future determination as to payment of dividends will depend upon the financial condition and results of operations of the Company and such other factors as are deemed relevant by the Board of Directors. NOTE - The Company has increased its regular common share dividend semi-annually since Aug 17, 2006, at which time it paid out $0.20 per share. $0.21 per share was paid out on Feb 22, 2007, $0.23 on Aug 16, 2007.
